Dana Saulnier’s Gallery Talk, September 24, 2019, FAC Main Gallery.

The Fine Arts Center Galleries host exhibitions that offer visitors exposure to traditional and new media forms from painting to performance art. The Galleries are curated with an emphasis on displaying a variety of art to appeal to the WKU community and challenge advanced art students. Often, there are opportunities for visitors to understand artists’ ideas and processes by attending artist workshops, demonstrations, or lectures sponsored by the Galleries. These events invite the curious, fascinated, confused, and everyone in between to join the conversation about art.

The Fine Arts Center Galleries at WKU, curated and maintained by the Department of Art & Design, are comprised of the main, two-story University Gallery and adjacent 2-D and 3-D Corridor Galleries. Between 16 and 22 shows a year are exhibited in these three spaces on the second floor of the Ivan Wilson Fine Arts Center Building.
